We’re so excited to launch 𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐍, a collaborative zine organised by akt and 42nd Street’s Q42 Project which amplifies the voices of LGBTQ+ young people in the UK between the ages of 13 and 25.
SEEN is a platform where young people can authentically represent themselves, their thoughts, beliefs, and perspectives.
Our first issue is focused on empowering your voices and experiences during this time of change, protest, and lockdown. This is your chance to share what these experiences have been like for you, to send a message to other LGBTQ+ young people across the country, and to show how you have been building resilience and hope during this difficult time.
As a multimedia digital zine, we’re opening submissions to any art form. Feel free to express yourself through writing, images, music, or video! We want your poetry, essays, singing, dancing, animations, you name it!
Issue #1 submission deadline: 2nd August 2020
